Framed Prints-Order Information
Currently on our online shop, we offer Prints and Framed Prints. For custom orders, special requests, or to order other services such as mounting (Gatorboard, Sintra™, Plaque, or Canvas) please contact us at info@ameereehal.com
A. FINE ART PRINTS & OTHER SERVICES
1. Fine Art Prints
All prints are high quality. Amee works closely with his lab to ensure the best results each and every time—this includes teststrips for large prints to ensure colour correctness and overall quality before the final print production. All prints 11”x16” and larger are printed using the Ultrachrome pigment-based ink process, preserving your artwork with a longevity of 75 years. These are the same prints used for framed packages.
2. Other Services (Mounting)
a. Gator Drymounting
A premium 1/4” thick board similar to foamcore but much better quality with exceptional rigidity and durability. Excellent surface quality helps prevent bending and warping.
b. Sintra™ Drymounting
A very high quality board. Visually sharp at only 1/8” thick yet extremely rigid and durable. Produced with wood and foam board fabrication techniques. Low gloss mat finish.
c. Plaque Drymounting
An economical alternative to framing, providing a frameless appearance while preserving the colour and protecting the print. Print is mounted and laminated onto a custom cut board with a beveled edge painted in the colour of choice.
d. Canvas Mounting
The fine art print will look like an original oil painting, down to the canvas texture. Image is printed directly onto a high quality cotton canvas, then stretched, wrapped, and fastened to a wooden frame structure. The result is a richer, textured, original-looking artwork. No glass needed, may be hung as is or with additional frame if preferred.

All drymounting, plaque mounting, and canvas prices above include the print.

B. FRAMED PRINTS
All framed pieces include 3" double matting with bevelled edge (3" outer showing & 3/16" inner showing) with Bainbridge Alphamat™, regular glass, acid-free foamboard for mounting, and contemporary frame moulding. NOTE: all framed pieces include the print.
We
have simplified choices to styles and colours we feel look best with
photography. However, if client would like to upgrade or view more
choices, we can arrange meeting with the supplier to view
their stock (in Calgary). Turnaround time for framed artwork is approx. 3-4 weeks.

1. How to Choose/Order
1. Choose a print size, 3 choices (11x16, 16x24, 20x30)
2. Select frame moulding size, 3 choices (small, medium, large)
3. Select the frame moulding style, 2 choices (Contemporary or Traditional)
4. Optional: add custom mat colours (more info below)

2. Frame Moulding Sizes:
The size of the frame moulding (small, medium, & large) is based on the amount of material and/or weight. This takes into account the width and depth of the frame moulding, therefore, 1” deep x 4” wide frame may be the same price as a 2.5” deep x 2” wide.
Approximate Width and Depth for each size below:
Small Frame: 3/4” to 1-1/2” wide X 3/4” to 1-1/2” deep
Medium Frame: 1-3/4” to 2” wide & 3/4” to 1-1/2” deep
Large Frame: 2” to 2-3/4” wide & 1-3/4” deep (4" wide X 1" deep also available)
3. Frame Moulding Styles & Colour
a. Styles: We offer 2 main styles: Contemporary (i.e. flat black) and Traditional (i.e. beveled edge).
NOTE: several variations of a Contemporary and/or Traditional style exist. Thus, we will choose the exact frame moulding style, unless client specifies otherwise. If another particular style is preferred, please contact us.
b. Colour: Black only. (contact us if another colour is preferred)

4. Matt Colour Choices: we
have simplified to 6 Matt Colours (Bright White, Off White, Cream,
Sepia, Grey, & Black) for both inner and outter matts. If client does not select custom matt option during order, we will select the matt colours as per above. If client does select custom colours, we will contact to confirm exact colours.

C. DELIVERY
We can arrange for delivery to client within Calgary (delivery charges apply). We can also arrange shipment destined within North America.
NOTE: For framed prints' shipment, due to fragility of glass, we will likely substitute glass with a plexiglass material (more sturdy, optically equal if not better than glass). This will be an additional charge and quoted to client before production begins.
